Soon to be a College Graduate

Well I got one more semester till I graduate from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I will be a Speech Major with a Certificate of Wedding & Event Planning that I received from Kapiolani Community College. What does the idea of being a college graduate mean to me?

• This the worst time in our economy. I know so many of my friends that are graduates that still haven't found a career yet. They either working a regular job or going back to school.
• I'm going to be a fully independent adult without my parents financially supporting me. I've been trying to cut the strings, but I'm glad they are just always there. But once I walk down that aisle now it just me supporting me. I'm just lucky to be with my man and we are going to living our lives together. I'm not getting married yet but we are a happy couple supporting each other and our baby Beautiful.
• Have to do an internship. Just like my dad being a dentist, he had to shadow others to gain knowledge and experience. I have to shadow someone to become a great Wedding & Event Planner. You always have to take the right steps to success.
• I don't want to work the 9-5 for my life...I have to go through my failures and some how become a SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR!!! I would rather fail 110 times than sitting in an office wondering if only...
• Just like my parents worked hard to have what they have I have to do the same thing. If I want that boat and sea-doos, support the idea of having a large family that they have I have to earn it.
• Bring on the REAL WORLD!!

So Blessed!!

This year has been such a struggle, but through it all God has blessed me with so much more than I can imagine. I have been with my man for over a year and we have had our relationship grow. I am so thankful for him being in my life supporting and loving me.

Among other news...We are having a BABY GIRL!!! It's so funny because when we went to the ultrasound we were totally sure it was a boy. But to our shock we still happy to have a girl. She is due December 3 which is perfect timing because my whole family is coming to visit me when I graduate this December. It will be the most amazing Christmas!!

We decided to name her "Beautiful Fa'amanuia Lavata'i McArthur." Her middle name is Samoan and it means blessings because she is a Beautiful Blessing in our lives. I'm 5 months pregnant and frequently feel her kicking now. I had the worst case of morning sickness while trying to go to school and work 2 part-time jobs. Today was my last day at one of them and we will see how long I will have my last job until I can't handle it anymore. My feet can definitely feel the weight that I've gained from her growing. I just want to have a healthy baby and pray that everything will be okay. I will continue my blog about my experiences as a pregnant mother to be. Thank you for all the love and prays from our family and friends. She is going to have such a Huge family!!
