Beautiful is COMING!!

I'm so ready to have my baby Beautiful!!!

What I really wanna know is what she looks like.

I'm already starting to get dilated at 1cm. My doctor said that if I'm dilated 2-3cm on Monday

That I'm going to be induced Wednesday. If not then for sure Friday because he doesn't want me to go past my due date.

My mom is flyin in on Tuesday to help me through my labor. I'm going to have her and Chris in there with me. I'm so ready!!!

Greek Week - Songfest!!

If you didn't know BBG competes every semester in Greek Week.

But one of our best things we love doing is performing at Songfest.

Every fall we have our BBG Pledges compete...and they didn't let us

Big Sisters down. They did Awesome and WON Songfest!!

It was soo adorable..but I think only BBG sisters will fully

understand the songs. Still watch it!!

Yay!! We Moved!!

We finally finished moving. We got some small pieces of furniture only for the bedroom. So I'm living in there until we can get the living room furniture. Our bathroom is going to have a beach theme. And our bedroom is going to have the same kinda Tiffany blue colors with Mocha brown. More a spa theme. I can't wait to order Beautiful's bed set. It's definitely cheaper and more our family than the Caden Lane one I originally wanted. It will match perfectly. And I'm going to blow up this picture that we took on the beach and put it over her crib.

Yesterday was really hard and tiring. I had contractions coming and going. I was going to this morning to the hospital but luckily I saved the trip by calling the doctor. She said since I'm past 34 weeks they aren't as aggressive toward the pre-term signs. Now I just have to wait and expect the hard and real labor contractions that last 20- 60 seconds and happen every 5 mins. I swear!! If If fully dilated and stuck in traffic trying to get to Queens I'm going to be soo pissed!! lol. I already gave mom an update and she thinks I could possibly be delivering this or next week. I wish she could wait till we have the baby shower. But nature calls and I'm going to start preparing my bag and getting just the basic stuff. I just want a healthy baby. I love her so much already.

Life is Goin so FAST!!!

Status: 35 weeks pregnant

Location: Moving from Waikiki to Waipahu

Mood: Totally tired... taking about 2 naps/day

The past couple days my man has been packing and cleaning our apartment so we could move into our new place on Monday. I'm kinda feeling anxious, but at the same time not knowing what my future holds. Waipahu is totally out the city! But I know it's to work towards something better. We are moving into a bigger, cheaper place so we can eventually buy a place next. I can't believe we are already at this point in our relationship. And we have a baby girl coming any day!! Everyday we talk about it and can't believe it's no longer just going to be us. It's going to be our lil' family. My BBG sisters are planning the baby shower and I can't wait to shop for Beautiful!! My mom is going to fly all the way from Canada as soon as I give her the signal that it's time for delivery.

I have soo much on my mind...what's going on in the present...too tired to do anything...need to do my baby registry...pack my delivery bag... look for furniture for our new place ... future...graduate... take care of baby... internship... start my own business... help my man with his music. etc. Literally my mind is everywhere!! I think once she comes, my mind will only be focused on the present and taking care of her and my man. I'm nervous but more EXCITED for how God is going to bless our family!!

So much to Do!!!

Well the rest of the month is totally busy!! And it doesn't help that Beautiful is going CRAZY!!

I swear last night she was all over the place and I think I could feel not just her feet kicking but her whole leg running across my belly. Weird! Right now she has the hiccups. I love her so much and we are getting Extremely excited!! Ohh by the way my life is more calm now that my man is back. It feels so weird without him here.

So what is coming up:

• Most Important is that we're moving out of Waikiki. It was a great blessing to live here where everything is. It's funny living where people come to vacation. But it's extremely expensive and not the place we want our baby to be around. Nov. 1 out of here!! so we are really busy looking at different houses/apartments to move to. And need to start packing!
• Paper due, exam next week, weekly readings & discussions - my body is already exhausted that I'm falling asleep on school. God give me strength!! I want to graduate!!
• BBG - I love my sorority and am extremely dedicated to trying to help in every way. Excited to have Sister's Night Out this week!! Treating my Little Sister to dinner. Many other events coming up. Like Halloween!!
• Halloween - I seriously don't know what to be right now that I'm pregnant. My BBG sister suggested I be the Virgin Mary...ughh nahh. I might not dress up or I will...It'll be a surprise.
• FYI: 1Hunid got offered to go on tour. I won't mention anything till it's official. But right now I'm helping to market 1Hunid by building their Facebook & Twitter Page. I'll post the link later.

Everyone is busy and going to get more busy with the holidays coming up. I need to start getting people's addresses so I can send both Birth announcements and Christmas Cards. So excited for my family coming these Christmas holidays for my graduation and to see Beautiful. And I get to meet Christian's mother. 2010!! Will be an amazing year!!

It had him and various speakers talk about what they do in their lives.

It's kinda long, but just listening to their stories and tips

made me more at peace and realizing that

I don't need to be doing everything!!

Change in Diaper Bag - It's Juicy!!

So I decided to be a little more realistic and more practical.

So instead of spending a Grand on LV purse for a diaper bag,

I decided to go into Juicy Couture and see what they had.

They have an actually baby bag that comes with

changing pad, bib, and burping cloth.

More practical because the inside lining was lickage-proof,

and had plenty of pockets for bottles & what-not.

There was a pink one too, but knowing my man

has to carry it sometimes I thought black was safe.

2/3 cheaper than the LV.

Baby's are expensive, especially when you want to be in Style!

A teenage girl about 17 had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year.
She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98% of teenagers will not stand up for God?

California Knows How to Party!!

Just an update on Beautiful: She has flipped 180 degrees.

I just did an ultra-sound Friday and her head was upwards in Breech.

But yesterday they did another ultrasound and she's head down.

I swear I felt her turn too (which hurt alot).

But that means she could come out any day now that she is in position.

And it's way more uncomfortable with her feet up in my ribs now.

I have to deal with it for bout 7 more weeks as she gets bigger.

And my man left this morning to go on vacation before she comes out.

Which I don't mind cause he hasn't been off island for like two years.

But he's going to try and give out his music.

More importantly he's going to see his sister who he hasn't

seen in over 10 years. Now that's crazy.

Have fun baby!! Party while you can.

(p.s. don't you think it's funny telling people you're

on vacation and they ask where're you're from.

Then we tell them Hawaii...Don't hate!!!)

Missin out on TV & Music??

I seriously haven't had cable for like the past 3 years. If I did it was like for 3 months. But really... I have no clue what is the Most Popular Show, Who did what in that show, no MTV, BET, Oprah, & especially no NEWS. I feel actually more at peace by not having my life revolve around TV. I don't work my schedule to what shows I don't want to miss.

And our car radio has been broken for like 6 months, so I don't have a clue what is playing. I don't know the latest songs or even the new artists popping now out of no where. I just looked online at the Billboard charts and I have not heard any of those songs. EVER! I just saw that Justin Beiber (how ever you spell his name) is performing today. Seriously doubt my daughter will know who he is!!

You may be wondering what the heck am I listening to?? Well my same old Beyonce of coarse!! And my man 2Nyce & 1Hunid Productions. Then whatever songs I have downloaded from online and Old School music (like Motown, Soul, R&B)

What does it feel like?? I feel more FOCUSED!! I feel like there is less Noise in my life. I don't feel like my world revolves around the Next Hottest thing. I love to surf the net and stay somewhat on top of what's going on, but I'm still selective on what I read. I read a lot!!! Not just blogs, but books too. My man and I don't care for cable or the radio. We are happy listening to what we got. The only thing we keep updating is movies..WE LOVE MOVIES!! We do Netflix, Redbox, & Blockbuster all in one week. LOL. We watch a movie before we go to bed every night. There's something about a good story/plot in a movie that is way better than all these reality shows. The only thing I love about reality shows are the ones you learn from like from Interior Decorating, Food Network, Discovery Channel, and some Oprah because she's on it. I think the only thing that's going to change is once we get some game system we going to play on that. But not like live on it!! Weird seeing grown men addicted to their game systems!!

BUT SERIOUSLY!! Why waste your life watching others really living theirs in the moment?? I'm actually glad that I've changed this way... that way my baby and my future children can grow up playing in the real world rather than sitting watching it.

Beautiful's Update

32 weeks - 8 weeks to go!!

My baby had her ultra-sound today and she was facing my back.

No wonder why she kicks my spine and butt sometimes.

This week was getting harder. I'm more out of breath

walking extra slow to class. And my morning sickness comes

back very randomly. My mind has so much to do but my body is worn out.

I'm takin more naps and I'm hungry more frequently.

Seriously!!

But as my friend said "it's the Art of Pregnancy"

Might as well be like the Art of War!! JK

Feet are more swollen but when I do my walks

my veins come back.

School and this baby is kicking my butt!!

Should I leave or should I stay??

I think in every relationship I've ever been in

(even the one I'm in now, no issues right now)

there has always been this questioning of

"Why did he do that to me??"

And then is it worth staying in the relationship.

Love Notes: Time together

So my life is exciting right now. But I've also noticed that all my girlfriends are gone or extremely busy. And sometimes I feel that I don't see anyone anymore. Kinda sad. But it's okay. I keep myself busy with all the homework I have to do. Lots of reading about US Women's History, Conflict Management and Family Communication. But for some reason yesterday I was not only busy with reading but also making phone calls. I had to talk to my dad and catch up, then my sorority sisters.

By the time I got off the phone, my man was off again to his evening class. When I had to wake him up from his nap he said, "You didn't pay any attention to me the whole time I was home." Well at first he was focused on his music before I decided to call my dad, then while I was talking to him he asked "Are you going to spend time with me?" My first move should have told my dad that I would call him back in a little bit so that I could lay down with my man for just an hour or so. Why do I say this? Because that's what my man does for me. When he is on the phone with even his mother, he gets off the phone to hang out with me just for a few minutes or even to say bye before I go to school. Sometimes because he's a man I assume he doesn't care to spend time with me. But he's not just any man, he's my man. He does extremely care to spend time with me and our baby Beautiful (even though she's in my tummy, we include her). He is very considerate about my schedule and being home rather than hanging with the guys. And I appreciate it more than he knows. We are a growing family that are there for each other and just love being in each other's presence is all that matters.

Believe me...if you know what I had to do and deal with to be with this man, you would be just as shock as I am to tell me he wanted me to pay attention to him. I even still get butterflies that he grabs and holds my hand when we walk together, IN PUBLIC. lol.

We Movin!!

So if you didn't know my baby is coming in about 9 WEEKS!!! I can't believe it. My man and I have decided to move into 3/4 bedroom house next month. Yesterday we did a viewing out in Salt Lake at a 4 bedroom on top of the hill. It is soo much bigger than all the apartments I've stayed at in Hawaii. I hope we get approved for it.

This whole moving event has both mine and my man's juices flowing on how to decorate our place. We are very classy, sophisticated, modern and glamourous couple that loves quality things. My man will be in charge of most of the rooms but I get to be in charge of baby Beautiful's nursery and our bathroom. I LOVE DECORATING!! I'll update on this later...
