Going home...

I'm goin home tomorrow for my Grandma Crowfoot's funeral.
I haven't been back to Canada for about two years.
And I don't miss the cold. But I'm excited to see my family again.
Spent enough money on flowers leis and candy to bring back.
I pray that I will be okay traveling.
Gettin worried about the swine flu.

Great weekend!!

I had such a great weekend:

Went out with some homeboyz..
V.I.P. bottle service at Level 4.
Then woke up Saturday morning to go
with Sweetie to Spring New Products Show.
Found some good wax that is the Business!!
Have to buy it!! *new hustle maybe??*

Told my sweetie who I was with on Friday
and he got mad that I didn't tell him.
I really didn't think he cared because usually doesn't care.
But I see him changing.
He told me to always tell him who he is with.
Trust..My sweetie is not insecure or jealous about other dudes...
It's for in case if something happens,
especially if I'm with some guys then he knows
who to go after for not watching over me
or if they get in a fight and I get stranded.
Overall he wasn't mad because I didn't know.
Made a promise to always let him know who I'm with...

We spent Saturday night together chilling.
I went to the beach Sunday!! Frickin cloudy.
Oh well it's way too hot when the sun is shining.
Then Sunday night when I wasn't feeling good,
very vulnerable, emotional, and insecure...
my Sweetie called to make sure I was alright. =]

Rest In Peace Grandma Crowfoot

So this mornin' I woke up to my mom callin'
me tellin me that Grandma Crowfoot passed away.
She is from my stepfather's side.
It's been a long time since I've seen her, even years.
But I know that she was a strong woman
who had sent her all of her children
to people she didn't know
to be taken care of so that they could get
an education. Only having faith.
May you rest in peace.

As many times as I get mad and frustrated at my sweetie...
I always realize sometimes it's my insecurities and immaturity.

and always wonders why I'm still around.

We have our weaknesses that we are workin on
Gettin' better, more understanding, and gettin' closer each time.

Da Mormon in Me...

Okay so if you didn't know I am Mormon.
I'm not here to convert anyone or hate on others.
Sometimes I have my Mormon Moments.
Like tonight..looking around on Facebook
all the people I know that are married,
getting married, just engaged.
Like people I've know since high school.
I think I've heard of at least 6 engagements within
the past week...like everyone's rushing to the temple/church.

Maybe I'm just being a hater because I thought
at this point of my life I would have been married
with maybe 2 out of my 5 kids done already.

But you know what...I look back at my life and the struggles
I went through and know that God gave me a second chance
to live my full life.

I got one more year left in school. Graduating next May 2010!!
I have so many things I want to get done.
As much as I want a family right now,
I know that I'm not ready for that...
But God will only put in front of me what I'm strong enough
to handle...and if that means settling down, then so be it.
God is good!!

Also I wanna go to Dominican Republic because
my girl is from there.

Okay summer is coming around the corner...
And usually I go back home...But not this year. : (
I decided to stay out here in Hawaii and work
Hoping to go on tour with PCC (Polynesian Cultural Center)
to Japan..but we'll see how it goes.
If anything I'll go travel the Hawaiian Islands.
I know next year I'm going to Samoa for family reunion!!

As long as I can remember growing up my family
watched Miss USA and Miss Universe every year.
We cheered for certain states and countries.
And we were such haters to others...no lie.
This was like the Superbowl for our family.
We would do a play by play on every woman
and give our own scores.
I know come Monday morning my Dad
is going to call me bout his thoughts
about everything!! I'll let you know afterwards
what I think about the pageant
this year. I don't know if you know..
but the last couple of Miss USA's have been
slippin' especially when it came to Miss Universe.

I did alot this weekend. But most of my time
was spent being with my sweetie.
I love spending time with him because
I learn many things about him but also about myself.
He makes me grow more into a woman
and my inner child makes him smile.
Even though I have some insecurities
and imperfections he still cares about me.

I wish I could tell you how much
I admire him and why he is such a great man.
I wish I could tell you our deep conversations.

Okay so worked last night and woke up real early this morning to work out.
We worked out hard and did our max limits to personalize our training.

First goal: Be able to do a Man's push-up...Never have done one ever!!
When I do it..it will be the biggest celebration.
Second goal: We did flexibility training...eventually going to be doing the splits and that Ciara/Matrix move leaning back...
JUST WAIT!!!

But afterwards my sweetie want to chill and watch movies.
I really appreciated him inviting me and Laura...But I got things to do.
The roles switched up today...Got stuff to do cus this weekend I'm celebrating Easter right!!

Rule #1 for a woman: HANDLE YOUR BUSINESS FIRST... because when you don't have to worry about it then when you are back together, you can focus your energy on him and building your relationship.

You Trippin!!

Okay so yesterday I had to dance Hula.
But like I said I started working out...
So when I got off I went to go meet with my girl and my sweetie.
Said Hi and then he said something that bothered me.
I started Trippin hard and I was too stubborn to admit it after.
I ignored being my happy self and just worked out.
Sometimes men just don't understand how they say things hurt.
And I know I was logically wrong for my actions
of acting immature about the situation.
But maybe I need to explain that deep down I just want to felt heard.
I know that I was wrong but you not fully listening to how I feel
doesn't make me feel like you heard me.
I let it go and you forgave me.
And I still care for the fact that I do this on the regular
and you put up with it and try your best just to be there for me.
And now we're happy again
spending time together.

Really....

The funny thing is the girl they have dressed up as the Hawaiian...Like try someone that actually looks like the real thang....But really I guess men ain't ready to settle yet...

Started working out!!!

Okay...
I'll admit I haven't worked out in months..urgh. But my sweetie started training some of his friends, so he asked my girlfriend Laura and I to come check it out. Let's just say everyone is in PAIN today from our 3 hour workout. But I feel more toned and flexible. And my posture is already getting better. I'll keep updates...the game plan is to work out Tuesdays and Thursday for 3 hours.
