The "Homemaker"

Honestly I have always dreamed of being a stay at home mom and raising like 5 kids. I wanted to be the most awesome woman by having everything done and be the most loving wife and mother. I really think it came from my mom and grandma. I was blessed to have mom that stayed at home. And I remember that she had learned so much from my grandma like sewing, cooking, baking, cleaning, etc. I think society has changed its views to become very negative to women that love this lifestyle.
I have come to realize now that I am not fully satisfied with being a full time homemaker. I think it comes from living a blessed life of doing so much in my life at one time. Such as college, work, dancing all at the same time. So I have decided that I will work but I will start my own business that way I have my own schedule. I will reveal later what business I am going into. I have already mentioned it to very close family because I believe words have power. And if you say it then you mean to live up to your word.

Now let me say I admire the skills to be a homemaker because I think those are skills that are slowly diminishing from the home. Which then forces families to pay others to take care of those needs. When you have those skills it allows you do it for yourself. Which makes you more independent. I know of some girls that don't know how to do their own laundry or cook anything. So EMPOWER yourself with some basic skills and maybe learn a little more. I know I want to learn how to make bread. And I love to sew. Wait and see once I get a sewing machine it's on!!
